Short week

Tuesday, September 19, Conversion day; classes follow a Thursday schedule, (most Tuesday and Thursday classes have a Thursday class anyway).
No classes scheduled, September 20-22, Wednesday-Friday, the computer rooms should be opened.
All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted. Almost all club events are open to all BC students in their area such as CLAS, SGS, GSO as designated on their ID. For example, an ethnic named club or club with associated with a major anyone can attend. Many are bars so check if under age. Many off campus events are bars so check if under age. If you can’t drink you might be able to eat there.

Jerry Before Seinfeld Review Special will stream on Netflix, Tuesday.

Tuesday, September 19: Lily Pond Concert, 12:30-2 pm.
Women of Color E-Board general meeting, 6-7:30 pm, Bedford Lounge.
Ice Cream Social, 12-2:30 pm, Occidental Lounge (5 th floor), Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Bioethics and Medicine Interest Meeting, 12:15-2:15 pm, Maroney-Leddy Lounge (4th floor). Open House with MEDO & PRA, 12:15-2 pm, WEB Conference Room. Dominican Student Movement, Puerto Rican Alliance. Ballroom Dance Society Club, 12:15-2:15 pm, 240 West Quad. Badminton Club, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-3 pm in Roosevelt 211 Extension (211 RE). Rackets and shuttlecocks will be supplied. You are allowed and encouraged to bring your own rackets as the club’s rackets may not be to your liking. Make sure to wear proper clothing and shoes. Situairy Women in History, 2-4 pm, SUBO, Woman and Gender Studies.

Off-Campus: Tuesday, Sept. 19: “The Perfect, Perfect”, 8 pm, $15. A night of stories, performance, and ritual on grief, gender, body shame, and feminism. With roller skates, candy, and cartoons. The Brick, 575 Metropolitan Ave. between Union Avenue and Lorimer Street.
Wednesday, Sept. 20: “Understanding Dementia for Caregivers”, 6 pm. A special educational meeting for those caring for people with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Pre-registration is required. Heights and Hills, 57 Willoughby St., Fourth Floor, at Lawrence Street. Pre-registration is REQUIRED. Please call the CaringKind 24-hour Helpline at (646) 744-2900 to register.
