Santa Rosalia Society Festival -18th Avenue Feast for about 10 days more. The feast runs on 18th Ave in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn from 67th to 75th streets. There will be lots of games, rides and ethnic food. There are usually at least 2 radio station’s there who set up booths and give away prizes and live on-air shows. Weekdays streets close off around 5pm and feast goes until about 11pm each day. The band is around 73 St.

Totally ’90s Trivia, SciFi Edition, 9 pm, (21+). A free night of nerdy, nostalgic fun, with a screening of “Galaxy Quest” starting at 7 pm. The Way Station, 683 Washington Ave. between St. Marks Avenue and Prospect Place.
Tuesday, Aug. 22-Thursday, Aug. 24. Coney Island Sideshow School, 9 am-3 pm, daily, It claims it is the only school of its kind where students can learn the ancient and sometimes deadly secrets of the sideshow. Dozens of potential circus, sideshow and carnival workers learn how to walk on glass, eat and breathe fire, swallow swords, and hammer nails into their faces, along with a handful of other of the sideshow’s ‘working acts’.
