All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Many are bars so check if under age. If you can’t drink you might be able to eat there.

Wednesday, June 14: NY Philharmonic, 8-10 pm, “Goin’ Home” theme from the Largo, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert. There will be fireworks by Bay Fireworks following the performances in the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. The Great Lawn in Central Park Accessible, Manhattan. Yiddish Soul, 7 pm, featuring The Klezmatics / Zusha / The Maccabeats / Special Guest Cantors: Chaim David Berson and Yanky Lemmer / Emcee: Nachum Segal presented in association with The National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene, SummerStage, Central Park, Rumsey Playfield, Manhattan. Bryant Park Boot Camp, 6:30-7 am. This event repeats every week on Wednesday till 9/27.Join The Rise NYC, a community-driven pop-up fitness group, for a Boot Camp on the Fountain Terrace, on the Sixth Avenue side of the park. Rotations through exercises like crunches, planks, push-ups, burpees, and mountain climbers ensure a mixture of cardio and strength training that will keep you coming back–and seeing results. Smiles and high-fives encouraged. Rain or shine. Fountain Terrace in Bryant Park, 6th Avenue and 41st Street, Manhattan. Bryant Park Public Tours, 11 am-12 pm. This event repeats every week on Wednesday till 12/27. Discover how Bryant Park Corporation successfully transformed “Needle Park” of the 1970s into Manhattan’s Town Square of today. Please arrive at the Fountain by 10:55 am to check-in with the guide. The tour will depart promptly at 11 am. Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain in Bryant Park, Manhattan. Registration is required. The Met Opera Summer Recital Series: Brooklyn Bridge Park, 7-9 pm. Pier 1 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, Old Fulton Street and Furman Street, Brooklyn.

Thursday, June 15:  Live at the Archway, Thursdays, 6 pm until Sept. 28. Underneath the Manhattan Bridge archway listening to music from across the world, free performances and dance classes paired with interactive visual art components. Manhattan Bridge Archway Plaza, Water Street and Pearl Street.  The site has a Brooklyn Address but the streets  above are in Manhattan so call (718) 237–8700.

Friday, June 16: New York Philharmonic, 8 pm, Long Meadow Ballfields, Prospect Park, enter at Grand Army Plaza, Prospect Park West at 9th Street, or Bartel-Pritchard Circle at the intersection of Prospect Park West, Prospect Park Southwest, and 15th Street. At 6:30 pm, The Side Project will perform. Holy Trinity Dance Party, 11:59 pm, $15 ($12 in advance). A night of music and dancing dedicated the powerhouse holy trinity of music: Beyonce, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj. Baby’s All Right, 146 Broadway between Bedford and Driggs Avenues.
