Thursday and Friday events at Brooklyn College and beyond

All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted. Almost all club events are open to all BC students in their area such as CLAS, SGS, GSO as designated on their ID. For example, an ethnic named club or club with associated with a major anyone can attend. Many are bars so check if under age. Many are bars so check if under age. Thursday, April 20: HASA Event, 12:30-2:30 pm, Penthouse. Enough, movie, 12:30-2 pm, Psychology Club. Women’s Appreciation Luncheon for BC faculty and staff for their strength, excellence, inspiration, and dedication to serving all of us, 12:15-2:15 pm Bedford Lounge. This could be private. Israel Business Club Speaker, 12:30-1:30 pm, Jefferson Williams Room. Corporate Accountability and Environment, 1-2 pm, State Room. Networking Follow Up with the Accounting Society, 4-7 pm, Glenwood Room. SEEK Freshman Orientation, 4:30-9 pm, Gold Room. Gender Roles, 6-10 pm, Penthouse. Karaoke Night, 6-10 pm, Jefferson Williams Room. 2017 Indie Jam, 6:30-10 pm, Bedford Lounge (2nd floor), Student Film Society.

Off-Campus: Kings Theatre Happy Hour Tour, 6:30 pm, $25, the beautifully restored theater for a behind the scenes, historic tour of the venue paired with a glass of our best wine. Must be 21 or over. One glass of wine included with the ticket. Kings Theatre, 1027 Flatbush Ave. between Beverly Road and Tilden Avenue. A Reefer Revue, 9 pm, $15, tributes, performances, Coney Island USA, 1208 Surf Ave. at W. 12th Street.

Friday, Apr 21: Badminton Club Spring Tournament, 10:30 am-5:30 pm, 200 RE.
