All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted. Almost all club events are open to all BC students in their area such as CLAS, SGS, GSO as designated on their ID. Thursday, Apr 6: A Puerto Rican Easter, 12-2 pm, Club Room (basement of Student Center), Puerto Rican Alliance. Consent and Condom Drive, 12:15-2:15 pm, New Ingersoll Lobby. As part of Consent Week and in anticipation of Spring Break, SexHub will be distributing literature surrounding the main principles of consent, information on Title IX, and a list of resources available to students struggling with non-consent. They will also give out condom packs, including male and female condoms, lube, literature on how to use a condom, and more. Can’t Stand My Landlord, 12:30-2:15 pm, TV Room (basement of Student Center), New York Public Interest Research Group. Is your rent to high!? Do you feel like your Landlord is taking advantage of you or somebody that you know?! Do your living conditions suck?! Come out to NYPIRGs ‘Can’t stand my Landlord’ event On April 6th from 12:30 – 2:15 and find out how to legally deduct expenses that your landlord may be actually tricking you into paying. We will be having a workshop on tenants’ rights as well as open discussion about present living conditions in New York City. IV Easter Extravaganza, 12:30-2 pm, Penthouse (7th floor), Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Free Health Screenings for all employees (it was posted on a site for all so go figure), 11 am-1 pm, Jefferson Room. Depression/Stress Elimination Workshop, 1 pm, 421 Whitehead Hall, all week.

Off-Campus: Free Goal Setting and Action Plan Creation Workshop, 5:30 pm. Create action plans for goals you want to accomplish this year. Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Branch. Covering the Trump Presidency, 6:30-8 pm. The LIU Brooklyn Department of Journalism hosts a panel of renowned journalists to discuss covering the Trump Administration. Featuring Marina Walker Guevara, David Fahrenthold, Alec MacGillis, and Charlayne Hunter-Gault. Kumble Theater at Long Island. The New York Times’s Sam Roberts in conversation with award-winning writer Pete Hamill, 6:30 pm, $10. Brooklyn Historical Society, 128 Pierrepont St. at Clinton Street.

Friday,  Off-Campus: The Rink, 6:30 pm. A documentary about one of the last remaining urban roller rinks. Higgins Hall Auditorium at the Pratt Institute, 61 St. James Pl. at Clifton Place.  Weather (Or Not), Friday, 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 3 pm and 6 pm, starting at $33. The Cynthia King Dance Studio’s annual spring production examines the current climate. The fast-paced one-hour performance delivers new, original choreography in a myriad of styles performed by dancers of all ages. Kumble Theater at Long Island University, DeKalb and Flatbush Avenues. Luxotica Lounge Cabaret, 10 pm, $15. See Coney Island’s circus-tinged burlesque show featuring stunning striptease talent with a twist only found in Sodom by the Sea.
