Thursday and Friday events at Brooklyn College and beyond

All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted. Almost all club events are open to all BC students in their area such as CLAS, SGS, GSO as designated on their ID. For example, an ethnic named club or club with associated with a major anyone can attend. Many are bars so check if under age. Many are bars so check if under age. Movie, 6-9:30 pm, Alumni Lougue, MEDO, (Dominican Club). Law School Seminar, 12:15-2:15 pm, 5th floor. We Stand Against Hate run by the President’s Office, 12:30-2 pm, 6th floor. ¿Quién Soy Yo? Who am I? 12:30-2:30 pm, Penthouse the the Mexican Heritage Student Association.

Off-Campus “What’s Your Damage?” 8 pm, Sachi Ezura and Halle Kiefer host a show that asks comics to ruminate on the middle school humiliations, dating embarrassments, and family drama that haunt them to this day, and that make them the weird, wonderful people they are today at The Grand, 646, Grand St. between Manhattan Ave and Leonard Street.

Friday, March 24: MFA Recording (Masters of Fine Arts) 12-4:15 pm, Jefferson Room, Department of Theatre. Royal Jelly Opening Night Ceremony, 9:30-10:30 pm, New Workshop Theater Lobby with the Graduate Theatre Organization.

Off-Campus: North Coast 8th Anniversary Show, 9 pm $12 ($10 in advance) is a hip-hop improv comedy show, stand-up showcase, and dance party rolled into one, Littlefield, 622 Degraw St. between Fourth and Fifth Avenues. Brooklyn Navy Yard-Inside Industry Tours, 9:30 am, $20, 330 businesses are in the thriving industrial park. With visits to woodworking shops, spacesuit makers, and the new technology center. Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92, 63 Flushing Ave at Carlton Avenue.
