Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) and free unless noted. If it sounds too good check first. Any student can go to dozens of club events. The only specification is being in your group such as CLAS students go to CLAS clubs, the same for SGS and GSO.
Thursday, Feb 23: Zine Workshop, Black History Month event, 12-2:30 pm, Jefferson-Williams Lounge (4th floor) with the Mexican Heritage Student Association. Self Defense Training with the Hillel Club, 12:15-2:15 pm, Alumni Lounge (4th floor). Come learn Krav Maga, a form of self-defense, with an expert trainer. Healthy lunch and snacks will be provided. The final celebration to our Dominican Republic Independence week. This will be the annual dinner party to talk and inform students and staff about the history of the independence, having performances and potential speakers while over dinner. Several Days: The Vagina Monologues Thursday, and Friday at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in the Women’s Center (227 New Ingersoll). Few tickets will be sold at the door.
