Super Bowl prognasticating: The keys to the game is the line play, Dwight Freeney and the athletic but inexperience of the Atlanta defense verse New England’s experience. It could be a high scoring game. New England has been in 6 Super Bowls and never scored in the first half. They have great half time adjustments. All their Super Bowl games have been within 4 points. They are 3 point favorites.  The Atlanta Falcons have never won the Super Bowl, one of 13 active franchises with that distinction.

Trivia: Friday the 13th is a date synonymous with bad luck among the superstitious. The official scientific name of the phobia is known as friggatriskaidekaphobia. That phobia is a cousin to triskaidekaphobia, the fear of the number 13. Our thirty-second president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, had a strong fear of the number thirteen. Franklin D. Roosevelt would not travel on the 13th day of any month and would never host 13 guests at a meal. Another notable presidential scaredy-cat? President Herbert Hoover.

Jackie Robinson’s uniform number has been retired by every Major League Baseball team. What is it 12, 22,  32, 42? Answer below.

The average American spends about 38 hours a year stuck in traffic.

Answer: Born in 1919, Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier when he became the first black athlete to play Major League Baseball in the 20th century. In 1997, Major League Baseball “universally” retired Jackie Robinson’s uniform number, 42, across all major league teams; he was the first pro athlete in any sport to be so honored. Initiated for the first time on April 15, 2004, Major League Baseball has adopted a new annual tradition, “Jackie Robinson Day”, on which every player on every team wears #42.

Although it hasn’t been printed since 1945, President William McKinley’s face appears on which bill?

$500 bill, $1,000 bill, $5,000 bill, $10,000 bill?

There are 100,000 miles of blood vessels in an adult human body.

Answer: The Treasury minted several versions of the $500 bill, featuring a portrait of President William McKinley on the front. The last $500 bill rolled off the presses in 1945, and was formally discontinued 24 years later in 1969. Most $500 notes in circulation today are in the hands of dealers and collectors. That being said, should you come into possession of a $500 bill, you’d find that its market value far exceeds its face value, with even worn $500 bills commanding upward of a 40% premium on the open market.

Andrew Jackson, who appears on the U.S. twenty-dollar bill, was highly opposed to paper money.

Who is the only person to play in both a Super Bowl and World Series?

Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders, Troy Aikman, Jim Thorpe?

Domino’s Pizza co-founder traded his shares for a Volkswagen.

Answer: Deion Sanders is the only person to play in both a Super Bowl and the World Series. After Deion Sanders was drafted by the Falcons in the 1989 NFL draft, he also signed on to play baseball with the New York Yankees. Playing for both teams, he became the only athlete ever to hit a home run and get a touchdown in the same seven-day period! Sanders played in the 1992 World Series with the Atlanta Braves, and won back-to-back Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers and Cowboys. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011.
