How old was Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. when he entered college?
13, 15, 22, 29.  Answer below.
Benjamin Franklin is a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a Baptist minister and social activist who played a key role in the American civil rights movement. King was such a gifted student that he skipped two grades in high school, 9th and 12th before enrolling at Morehouse College at the age of 15. Although he was the son, grandson and great-grandson of Baptist ministers, King did not intend to follow the family vocation until Morehouse president Benjamin E. Mays, a noted theologian, convinced him otherwise. King was ordained before graduating college with a degree in sociology.

New Club: Below is a message from the founder of “Self Conscious and Pro Active” which is a new club on campus currently looking for new E-Board members.
SCAPA was created with the intent to encourage minds to foster and grow in a more organic, nonconventional way. Self Conscious and Pro Active is one of the few clubs on the campus that have started very small, yet has made a lasting impact on those who were in attendance to the first event “Self Efficacy: The Happenings of Intentional Self Love”.
At the moment, the founder will be taking a small hiatus and is looking for creative, optimistic, and enthusiastic e-board members to fill the spaces of President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Club Connector. Special Elections will begin asap. If you’re interested, have concerns or questions please send an email to [ubuntu.inu@gmail.com].
Brooklyn Trivia:
I always wondered why there were 3 bridges in 6 blocks over the Belt Parkway near Coney Island Avenue. One is from the subway. Possible answer below.
Manhattan Beach does not allow cars parked on the private blocks certain days.
I have read several books on Robert Moses who built the Belt Parkway. He always tried to get a service road with the highways. Sheepshead Bay fought him and blocked it. You will notice the service road has lights and goes through what was the Lundy’s parking lot by Ocean Ave now a gourmet supermarket. There are 3 bridges because it might have been built in sections.
The Pre law Club will have an off campus trip to Cardozo School of Law on Friday, February 17. They will meet at the law school at 10:30 AM. Space is extremely limited. RSVP by replying to bcprelawclub@gmail.com
