T-Mobile is hiring at the store next to McDonalds on Nostrand Avenue. Next door to it is Panda Express which is a chain just opened. All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free. Also see the Ongoing or Seasonal tab at the top.

Wednesday, Dec. 28: Swipe Left – ACLU Benefit show, 8 pm, $12 ($10 in advance). The sharp, politically minded comedy show raises money for the American Civil Liberties Union. Hosted by John Fugelsang, Frank Conniff and David Feldman, with guests Jo Firestone and Jordan Carlos at Union Hall, 702 Union St. at Fifth Avenue. Comedians You Should Know, 9 pm, $5. Host David Drake welcomes Aparna Nancherla, Joel Kim Booster, May Wilkerson Mike Lebovitz, at The Gutter, 200 N. 14th St. between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue. Book Court Holiday Party, 6-9 pm. Mingle and chat with others who have been part of this wonderful community on the 35th store anniversary. Book Court, 63 Court St. between Pacific and Dean Streets.

Thursday, Dec. 29: Thursday Nights at the Brooklyn Museum. Free admission to the museum’s many exhibits and galleries 6-10 pm, Brooklyn Museum 200 Eastern Pkwy. at Washington Avenue. Your Love, Our Musical, 8 pm, $10. Rebecca Vigil and Evan Kaufman’s award-winning musical musical improv show back. The two interview a vivacious couple from the audience and then turn their love story into a fully improvised musical. Union Hall.
