Tuesday and Wednesday events at Brooklyn College

All events are at the Student Center unless noted and free.
Tuesday, Dec 6:  Coffee and Donuts for Finals, 7:30-9 pm, Whitehead Lobby (Campus Road Entrance) from Student Government. All week. Stress Buster: 11 am-3 pm, Maroney Room. Puppy Therapy (student government meeting also?), 12:15-2:15 pm, Bedford Lounge (2nd floor). Holiday Party with the Mathematics Club, 12:30-2 pm, 1127 Ingersoll Hall. Tanabata (Star Festival), 6-10 pm, Jefferson-Williams Lounge (4th floor) with Anime and Manga Corps, (Star Festival) is originally meant to celebrate the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi. The traditional custom for this event is for people to write their wishes on a piece of paper and tie it to a bamboo tree. Students will write their wishes on a piece of paper and tie put it under the Christmas Tree. There will be food and refreshments served as well as fun activities such as card games and more. VSO Meeting, Veteran Students Organization, 12:30-1:30 pm, 1409 James Hall. VSO meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of the month, throughout the academic year. The VSO welcomes all Veterans, US Armed Forces Personnel and their dependent family members, as well as anyone who is a supporter of the sacrifices made by Military Service Members and their families.

Korean Club Meeting, 12:30-2 pm. Mental Health Awareness, 12:30-2 pm with Nu O C Greek Organization.

Wednesday, Dec 7: P.B. and Jam 5-7 pm, State Room, with Chi Iota Omega. Tae Kwondo Weekly Meeting, 12:30-2:30 pm, 211 Roosevelt Hall. Student Screenwriting Collective 3- 5 pm, WEB Building, Film Department, 2nd floor 228 with the Student Film Society.
