Thursday, November 17th: Pie Eating Contest, 12:30-2 pm, State Lounge (5th floor), Global Medical Brigades event to raise funds for the purchase of medical/hygiene supplies for its upcoming brigade in Nicaragua. It does not say what kind of pie. Sexual Misconduct: Policies, Prevention and Resources, Stalking, 12:30-2 pm, 227 New Ingersol. Sociology Club talks politics, 12:30-2 pm, 3604J. Higher Education Forum with NYPIRG about the tuition increase costs, 12:30-2 pm, 4th floor.  Confidence Through Acting, 12:15-2 pm, International Room (5th floor). Girl Geek Dinners, theater educator Nellie Perera will walk you through some interactive acting/theater exercises that will focus on ways to boost and maintain a positive self-confidence. This is intended to help females who want to feel more confident. Space is limited so please RSVP. Workshop starts exactly at 1 pm, tbleah2@gmail.com. Historical Society, 12:30-1:15 pm, 1112 Boylan Hall, Professor Jennifer Ball of BC Art will give a presentation on Byzantine Art. Senior event “Don’t forget where you came from”  NABA Club,  8–10 pm, Jefferson Lounge, 4th Floor. This event is to address the importance of giving back and how giving back can be in your best interest in the long run, especially the seniors who are about to leave. Members will be discussing where they came from, who they are today and who they helped. The event is open to all classes. They are looking for volunteers and future leaders of our chapter. In you have skills in photography, event planning, graphic design, detailed oriented and great public speaker.
