In light of the election results, there are questions about deportation etc. CUNY has offices around NYC staffed by paralegals and lawyers to answer immigration questions. The website says it’s about naturalization and DAPA, but it is suspected the services will change to include deportation counseling as well. There is a group looking for ways to connect with student organizers to talk about
planning events to support students in this uncertain and scary post-election climate. There are a group of progressive faculty and students to try to organize ways to defend and protect those whose communities and families are under attack. The event is Tuesday at 12:30 pm, Woody Tanger Auditorium in the Library.
