Most Brooklyn College events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted. Tuesday, Sept. 13: Lily Pond Concert 12:30-2 pm. Chocolate Party at Hillel 12-2:15 pm. Pre-Law Club, 12:15-1:45 pm, Jeanne Estilo Widerka will be the guest speaker. Ms. Widerka is the Assistant Dean of Admissions at Cardozo School of Law. She will speak about the admission process in general in the Amersfort Lounge, on the second floor. Thursday, Sept. 14: First Year Thursday on the East Quad, 12:30-2 pm. IVCF event (Christain Fellowship) 6:30-10 pm, basement. Minorities and Philosophy Club also known as MAP event in 3308 Boylan Hall to learn information about upcoming events, lectures, and workshops. Food and refreshments will be provided as well as copies of the reading for our upcoming Reading Series event.  The Black History Month Committee, Women of Color, and Caribbean Student Union can all be found in the Black & Latino Male Initiative Office (which is NOT EXCLUSIVE to males) in 3309 James Hall. The office is generally open 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday unless otherwise specified.
