Thursday September 8: Hillel Club Fair 12:15 pm at Hillel which is opposite the theater being built. First Year Thursday, East Quad 12:30 pm. IVCF (Christian Fellowship) 12:30-2 pm. Movie Night 6-10 pm Occidental Room. Jobs, Education and the Skills Gap at Baruch College. An economic policy event will bring leaders together to explore trends around jobs and hiring in New York City and State. Friday, The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum is hosting a free night for college freshmen and a friend.
Sunday: September 11 Day of Service. Find Your Park campaign, is mobilizing volunteers coast to coast in celebration of the national day of service and remembrance on Saturday, Sept. 10, on Governors Island.
There is a new amphitheater for the Coney Island concerts with big names of the past. It touches the boardwalk and you can hear it perfect from there and a big hole in the fence everyone sees through. The lineup is Bryan Adams Wednesday 7:30 pm, Culture Club and Boy Gorge, Thursday 7 pm, Widespread Panic Friday and Saturday, Willie Nelson 9/13 Tuesday, Phil Lesh 9/14 and 15 and Don Henley of the Eagles 9/25 Sunday.
