Library Café will close Sunday 5:45 pm and will reopen on Tuesday due to the holiday weekend. All events are in Brooklyn unless noted and most are free.

Hunt for Wild Hawthorn Berries in Prospect Park with “Wildman” Steve Brill

Bargemusic Concert

Walk across the gangplank of a renovated coffee barge for a one-hour, family-friendly concert. This one-hour performance includes a Q & A session with the musicians. Doors open 15 minutes before the performance; no reserved seating is available. for more!

Observing the New Moon: A Guided Experience

Celebrate darkness in the Eastyard at the Hollows. Observe the night sky with help from expert

volunteer astronomers. Thirty-minute program followed by viewing of the New Moon. Total

program lasts approximately 1 hour. We encourage anyone wishing to bring a telescope or binoculars to do so, but it is not required. You are more than welcome to look through ours. Weather permitting.
