Theodore Roosevelt, Grover Cleveland, William Howard, Taft Ulysses S. Grant?
President William Howard Taft has the honor of being America’s heaviest leader, weighing in at over 335-340 pounds toward the end of his Presidency. After he became stuck in the White House bathtub, Taft ordered a new one installed. The replacement was big enough to hold four grown men of average size. Taft is remembered for being the first U.S. president to throw a pitch on the opening day of baseball season, and the only President who also served as a Supreme Court justice. He was the first president to be buried in Arlington Cemetery, and the first to have a funeral broadcast on the radio.
