Monday night postings are much less in the summer as the college has few events. So we will post many citywide events. Many BC students in the summer are not here in the fall and spring. They are from out of town colleges but their parents live here so they take classes here.

Festival of Women Making Films at LCC. US premiers of 6 short films directed by Indian women. Each film will be accompanied by an introduction from the director and a panel discussion on the films will follow the screenings, 10 am, LaGuardia Community College E-Building, Little Theatre, 31-10 Thomson Avenue, Long Island City, Queens.
Wednesday: Brooklyn Electroacoustic Ensemble (BEE), 7-8:30 pm, Studio 312, Roosevelt Extension. See Several Days Event below. Thursday: At the Lily Pond with PBK. Education Department scholarships and awards, it may be private so check with them, 6-8 pm, basement, SUBO. Several days events starting Wednesday: Student Art Exhibition at Kingsborough Community College, fine arts, graphic design and art history students at the art gallery, workshop on design thinking (how to empathize with customers when designing products and services).
