Brooklyn College events and around the city this week

Events are in the Student Center (SUBO) unless noted and almost all are free. Some may be private parties.
Welcome new students and viewers. See our top tabs for orientation tips. You will sound new if you ask for the A building which is Whitehead Hall and the Student Center which is called SUBO by most.

Black History Month Events: http://www.nycgo.com/articles/black-history-month-events-2016.  Tour of Gracie Mansion every Tuesday, at Gracie Mansion (the mayor’s house in Carl Schurz Park), Manhattan, 10 am–10:50 am. Register on.nyc.gov/gracietour. Walking Campus one hour tour of Brooklyn College daily, 222 West Quad Center, Tuesday 3 pm, Wednesday, 10 am and 3 pm. Thursday, 3 pm, Friday, 10 am, 3 pm.  Tuesday: The Student Center will be closed from 5 to 7 pm. Mardi Gras, 7-10 pm, Black and Latino Male Initiative Open House (all welcome): 12:15 pm, Gold Room. BC’s Men’s Bulldog Basketball Team is one of the best in the country for its size. They play at 7:15 pm in the West Quad.

Thursday: Last day to add a course and for course auditing, to file Pass/Fail applications for elective courses. Graduate Student Organization Party and psychology, 7-10 pm, Penthouse. Alpha Sigma Party 6-10 pm, second floor.
