Oy Chanukah with Yiddish Theatre Star Eleanor Reissa and Grammy Award-Winning Trumpeter Frank London with The Klezmer Brass All Stars, 3 pm, $32-$35, On Stage at Kingsborough, 2001 Oriental Blvd. at Oxford Street, Web site: http://www.onstageatkingsborough.org. Fort Greene Park Tree Lighting with caroling, hot chocolate, cookies, and Santa. Bring gifts to support the toy, 5 pm, Fort Greene Park Visitor Center, enter park at Myrtle Avenue and Washington Park. Handel’s Messiah Sing-All, 5 pm, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 3714 Avenue D between E. 37th and E. 38th Streets. Menorah lighting of the world’s largest menorah every night of Hanukkah, with live music, hot latkes, and gifts for children, Sunday 6 pm, Grand Army Plaza, Union Street between Flatbush Avenue and Prospect Park West. Christmas in Richmond Town, 1890’s styles, with traditional decorations, handcrafted gifts and ornaments, baked goods, 11 am–7 pm, with a tree lighting at 5 pm.
