New stores that opened by the college are Telco On Flatbush Ave going toward Glenwood Road for housewares and clothes, replaces Gem Store previously there, Island Burger (Trinidad influence) at 2093 Nostrand Ave and Glenwood Road, Cafe Benne where Shakespeare Books were, Dollar Tree at Nostrand Ave and I for a lot of dollar items.
