Tuesday BC events

Tuesday: Skyping with Chomsky 11 AM-2PM, 11-12:45 pm screen “Is the Man Who Is Tall Happy?: An Animated Conversation with Noam Chomsky,” with time for discussion (and for students to formulate questions for the skyping session). A buffet will be served, and the actual skyping (where students will ask Chomsky questions) will run from 1:15 to 2pm. Noam Chomsky is a pivotal figure in contemporary linguistics, politics, cognitive psychology, and philosophy. BC Sociology Club: Annual SURC Competition with four exciting posters to present, and two faculty judges, Professor Smithsimon and Professor Mose-Brown. The competition will be held in room 3604 James, and will begin at 12:30 pm.
