Saturday: Ice Festival: 12:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. Celebrate winter and revel in the Park’s beauty as you watch artists from Okamoto Studio carve the Park’s best known architectural gems of Bethesda Terrace into ice sculptures. Learn about the park’s design and restoration from Conservancy experts, and warm up with hot chocolate. Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. Sunday: Electronic Waste Recycling 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Get rid of your old electronics the environmentally sound way. The Lower East Side Ecology Center is bringing its  “After the Holidays” E-waste Event to Prospect Park to help you responsibly dispose of all of your unwanted or broken gadgets.  Prospect Park West & Third Street in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Martin Luther King Day celebration: Potluck breakfast followed by African drumming performance led by Sounds of Afrika.
