A FREE Family Fun Day: Jamaica Bay by Land Sea and Air, to be held at the Ryan Visitor Center at Floyd Bennett Field from noon to 4PM on Sunday, Sept. 29.
The day begins with the Raptors/Birds of Prey at noon, presented by the Oyster Bay Theodore Roosevelt Audubon Sanctuary, a live animal show and tell that will include a selection of birds of prey that can be seen up close.
Master Storyteller, Jonathan Kruk will be telling stories to kids with his Flights of Fancy: Planes Birds and Dragons at 12, 1 and 4, in the Ryan Center.
The Bossy Frog Band will perform on the porch of the Ryan Center at 2PM.

In addition to these scheduled events there will be opportunities to try kayaking, biking, tent set up, fishing demo, also hiking/birding, and garden walks.
There will be food vendors on site during the event, and plenty of free parking.
Dress for the weather (may be breezy and chilly).
